Doggon Wheels England"Buster gets on really well and has even been swimming in it when down in Devon. This photo was taken today at the local common - he can now get up a bit of a gallop when chasing the ring with Megan. He turns heads wherever we go and everyone is keen to know about his problem and where we got the wheels and to say how great they are."

Regards,
Chris and Jenny

Doggon Wheels England"Max was 15 on August 10th 2005. He has had treatment for arthritis and neurological problems which have affected his back legs for about 6 months, although he still had 2 walks each day. Then suddenly on 18th November on his evening walk, the use of his back legs went completely. Over the weekend our vet injected a different anti-inflammatory for 2 days, then a steroid injection for 2 days, unfortunately with little effect although there were signs of the legs becoming less limp. In the mean time on Monday 21st the vet gave us your web address and we ordered the wheelchair. On Thursday 24th it arrived, a fantastic service considering that you were let down by parcelforce and it should have been a day earlier. Max got used to the saddle harness for the first day and on the second day tried the wheelchair. Being a Golden Retriever he took it all in his stride as it were and after two days was having his 2 walks a day again, but at a much quicker pace. He really enjoys his walks in the wheelchair as he has always been such an active dog. Thank you so much for helping us to give him a new lease of life as every walk he takes is a bonus. Also it would have been so difficult for us to manage a 5 stone dog without any way of lifting or mobility."

Best wishes and good luck with your products.
John & Jennifer

Doggon Wheels England"I thought you may be interested to see how Tess has taken to her 'wheels'. Tess has CDRM, and having the wheelchair allows us to take her out in safety. Her legs are mucky as she had been trying to catch some of the pheasants the local farmer has just released in the field at the back of our place.
Many, many thanks for the chair, it has improved all our lives."

Best wishes

"I just wanted to thank you so much for pursuading us not to have [Chappie] put down when his back legs went due to CDRM. As you know we did have to have him put down because of a twisted stomache one month after recieving the wheelchair, but I can't thank you enough because we got got an extra month with him we wouldn't of had if not for the wheelchair. As he wasn't able to do as much we paid extra special attention to him and he knew it! He lapped it up! He had a really happy life and a happy last month as well! As for the wheelchair I can't recommend it enough,he took to it so quickly and even dragged himself over to it when we said walk! Thanks again for our extra time with him, it meant so much."

Doggon Wheels England"Bow is an 8 year old German Shepherd he has always been a very active dog. At 5and a half he sustained a Gracilis Contracture to his right hind leg, done whilst chasing a ball and slipping on grass. Although a uncommon injury after much research into different methods including surgery there was no proven treatment. We did try physiotherapy, Hydrotherapy and even a muscle stimulator. Although this injury left him with a slightly strange gait he was otherwise unaffected. About 12 months ago he was diagnosed with CDRM which has obviously worsened, strangely leaving his left hind leg the weakest. In every other way he is a happy healthy dog who appears unaware that his back legs no longer work. It was a hard decision to make as to whether to get him a cart but I can honestly say it has given him his active lifestyle back, without it he would be unable to walk. It’s great to see him running and playing with other dogs and his beloved ball. Many people have enquired as to the nature of Bow's illness and from where the cart came. He has become quite a celebrity on the beach. A lady even asked about a cart for her rabbit the other day so I passed on your website details."

Many Thanks,
Kim and Bow

Doggon Wheels England"We are now getting on much better with the wheelchair and go out for a mile (or two miles) twice most days. The fleecy 'socks' allow Tippi maximum freedom to move her back legs and, although they won't take her weight now, she does move them a lot while in her cart (in what must be the accustomed 'walking' motion). So even her back legs are getting some exercise. And she is manifestly much happier now that she is getting more exercise in general. Having been a fanatically sociable dog all her life, she also loves the attention her wheels get her. She is quite a looker and, all her life, she's been accustomed to complete strangers stopping us in the street and saying she's the most beautiful dog they've ever seen - and generally cooing over her. We also live on a beautiful coastline which is quiet in the winter . . . . . . except for Xmas week - so every walk has taken us hours after being stopped by Tippi's adoring public every few yards. We've given out your details to several people who have big dogs (or know people with big dogs) who might just be showing early signs of weakness in the hindquarters. Thank you for talking to Terry before Christmas and do feel free to refer anyone to us if you get enquiries from giant dog owners who are anxious and unsure if this could work for them (as we were only a few weeks ago). We'd be glad to help if it could give anyone else even a few extra quality weeks/months with their dog."

Happy New Year!
Helen

Doggon Wheels England"We would like to take this opportunity of saying a big thank you for a wonderful product. Our family member SIMBA lost the use of his back legs and was looking very tired with life. He loved walking the fields with his friends, sadly that, was slowly getting less frequent with every passing day. Then along came Doggon Wheels. We cannot thank you enough, the change is tremendous, and it DOES make the difference, for the first time in months Simba actually RAN words cannot express how we feel. We were a little apprehensive when we saw the box with all the parts but the instructions were spot on. I would like to say a big thank you to CAROL who gave me lots of advice and support on the phone throughout. Simba has a new life, we have a new friend."

Many thanks again and happy xmas to all,
Mick & Maureen, of Derbyshire

Doggon Wheels England"The dog cart is a huge success and Misty waits patiently every evening to go out for her walk or 'ride' in the park. We also picked up a tip from a vetinary nurse who we met while on one of our walks, relating to getting her in and out of the car, up the garden steps and into her cart. It is a very simple idea but has proved cheap and invaluable to us, so we thought we'd share it with you, but you probably know the tip already. Using one large old bath towel, make a roll with it and insert it under her tummy just in front of her hind legs, then with one of you holding each side of the towel, it is very east to move her about, which stops her feet scraping on the ground too. It also tends to empty the bladder quite quickly! We are very pleased and have already recommended you to several people we have met, and you may well have had a recent enquiry from a lady in Hamsey Green. It has certainly been a talking point. Thanks again for your help, we are looking to have Misty around for many months to come now she is like a dog reborn."

Kind regards,
Ros and Mike Whiteman

"Cleo received her quad chair in time for her holiday, and thanks to you had a more mobile time than she would have had. She loved the attention from people that stopped and talked to her and were saying to us that they wished they had thought of a wheel chair for there pet when it couldn't get about, because it not only gives the pet more flexibility but also the owner. In the case of cleo who can't pull her self along but likes to move her paws as if she is, can be pulled with very little effort, and because of the front swivel wheels will go in the direction that you want it to."

Many thanks,
Elaine

Doggon Wheels England"Megan is now seven. When she recently became very lame in her back legs we took her to the local Animal Hospital. The vet felt that there was nothing that could be done and that she should be destroyed. We begged her to give Megan another chance and she decided to prescribed non-steroidal anti-inflammatories. These were fairly useless. The vet wanted to see Megan again after seven days. We cancelled the appointment as Megan showed no signs of improvement and we couldn't face life without her. During this time we became aware of Doggon Wheels. My son (himself disabled) was surfing the net when a friend told him about Doggon Wheels. This person had used the carts for his two German Shepherd Dogs. We ordered a cart and I started giving Megan Reiki (I am a Reiki Master). She immediately started to get better. By the time the cart had arrived she was able to get up onto all four legs.We took her out the first time and she took to the cart immediately. We have walked miles. Megan has now gained a lot of use in her back legs. We still use the cart for walks but she is now able to walk to the car. Without the cart Megan would not be with us now."
