These Booties Protect the Paws of Your Pooch.
For pet's that have the tendency to "knuckle" their paws when walking, these booties help prevent cuts and scrapes. Basic shell made of Ballistic Nylon, with a bottom layer of Tuff-Grip for traction. Comfortable neoprene tongue and Velcro wrap around design to keep booties securely on. We designed these booties out of necessity for our own dog, Xema. When taking her for mountain bike rides in the high desert, we noticed she was cutting her feet on the sharp rocks. Other booties we tried either fell off or filled up with sand then fell apart- she's worn these for as many as ten miles and not once did they fall off. We decided to make these available for other pets and added the layer of traction for pets with degenerative or neurological conditions as we found they needed a slick top side (for when they knuckled their foot under) then a little traction on the bottom (for when they correct their footing).
Please Note:
Our boots are designed for traction and to help prevent scrapes from occasional knuckling. Booties should not be used as an alternative to proper mobility assistance. For more information on when to use which products, please see our Questions and Answers Page.
